Don McNaughton, MA DMIN CCC
Professor of Counselling, Certified Canadian Counsellor

From his background in wilderness charter flying Don went on to become a flying pastor and counsellor in remote areas of B.C. and northern Canada. Dr. McNaughton now practices and teaches counselling in the greater Cochrane and Calgary area. He is currently Professor of Counselling at Canadian Baptist Theological Seminary and College in Cochrane.

Don is a compassionate and perceptive listener. “It is my pleasure to help people find resilience that leads to satisfying personal change.  I will be delighted to help you discover how God’s grace and your diligence can work together to turn life’s adversities into a pattern of overcoming. 

As part of his overall practice Don has significant counselling experience working with Christians, missionaries, pastors and other clergy leaders from different churches, missions and Christian organizations.  He applies his unique insights to the challenges they face, utilizing an informed perspective that offers biblical support to followers of Christ for their marriages, families and employment settings.
